<description>Unfortunately, educators seem more focused on teaching for tests than teaching by engaging students. By shifting responsibility from parents to teachers, the education system is suffering. Students should enjoy going to school. One of the few elementary teachers that I remember try to teach us through fun projects. I still remember the projects and what I learned from them. Light the fire to learn in a student and they will learn in and out of school.

<description>This is such a great post from such a young student. Rina's thoughts are exemplary of how our students should be encouraged to think. Many private schools in my area are starting to really push these types of ideals. Bravo for a 5th grader coming to the realization that it takes action to cause change!

Thanks,
