Ah, Anne, if you hadn't done the meme I wouldn't have known you were onto "I'm not scared" - so I'm glad on two counts!

Hi Marjorie,
I am so glad you asked this question because you really have a great opportunity to teach students and help your colleagues at the same time. Plus help your students develop a love of learning! Check to see what your colleagues would love to have students do as they learn the applications, like fun writing assignments around the curriculum (using idioms to have fun writing about that learning), keeping records, applying data in Excel from their classroom work, etc. Check out the comments on this post (http://davidwarlick.com/2cents/2007/04/04/more-about-computer-applications/) and here (http://davidwarlick.com/2cents/2007/04/03/what-about-computer-applications/). and you will see some specific examples. I think the one from Patrick on Web 2.0 would be great also as well as asking them questions about what they are learning in class and how they could apply their learning in your class.

Are there links to your class? I would love to see it. Best to you.....

Jott comes in really handy for those spur of the moment ideas, and best, you get to talk to yourself. It will record and write out what you say. Great way to remember the details of something you know you'll forget.

I like your idea of dividing your "to-do" list into categories - I hope you don't mind if I borrow it.

I held off a bit after Cathy Nelson tagged me with this meme, but I'm really glad I took part. I feel like I've been on a serendipitous journey following the links to both the "tagged" and the "taggers". I've found some great blogs I might not have encountered otherwise!
