Hi Andrew,
The students will be blogging about what they are learning and using poetry, current events , content etc. from their learnings. See Blogical Minds at http://itc.blogs.com/minds and check out the student blogs to get an idea of what they blog about. I guess in my excitement I neglected to point out how these students use blogs to develop literacies. Time has always been a factor in classrooms and getting time scheduled to blog about what they are learning is amazing.

My only question is what will these students be blogging about? I don't think there is much purpose in blogging just for the purpose of blogging.

Hi Anne -

I am a technology specialist at an elementary school in Minnestoa and we are trying to start blogging at the elementary level. Do you have any beginning advice for me? How to set it up? Do you have parent permission forms or an information night to fill parents in ? What have you found to work the best when just starting out with blogging ? If you could pass on some of your wisdome to be beginner it would be much appreciated.

Thanks - Erin
