Frustrations with WordPress

I need help and I am hoping someone has a solution! All of a sudden my white text has changed to black. The body text is usually white and I didn’t change anything in the body text part of the theme(at least not knowingly). I have gone inside and made changes that I thought were for the body text and experimented with several fixes. Nothing has worked. I have always put it back as it was. I’m wondering if when I have copied and pasted items over from the web if that did it but when I redid that part just using a text file the text on the blog remained black. The text on my blog is correct and white on earlier posts.  Frustration abounds! Any suggestions?

    Hi Anne,

    It looks like, as you say, when you copied-pasted text from another web you carried with you some code besides just the text.

    If you look inside the code of your “black posts” you can see those lines:

    font color=”#ffffff”
    font style=”font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: normal;

    You should remove them.

    I guess that you also tried to do this, but did not succeed. The problem might be that… are you using the rich text editor to write your posts? In case you do, don’t. Or, at least, deactivate it, go back to the “black posts”, edit them and this “malicious” code will appear. Remove it and, then, activate again the rich text editor if you feel more comfortable with it.

    When pasting again content from other sites, be sure to use a text file or, as I do, PureText (http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/)

    Hope it helped.
