Webquest blog

I really like the K-12 Webquest Blog. It highlights webquests based around material from Bernie Dodge’s Questgarden. One that caught my eye was The 21st Century Classroom: Using Wikis: Introduction. Here’s another one on Social Networking that I plan to dig into to see how they are approaching this issue. This blog is associated with the main project, K12 Station. It has a free library featuring over 20,000 web-based resources for K-12 students, teachers and families. Just click on a grade level and topic to view dozens of tutorials, games, movies, simulations, primary source documents, and more. Chris, the web developer and content manager for the site, also has a Site of the Day Blog.

Anne…thanks for pointing the way to this great resource! I teach an online WebQuest course for teachers, and we use QuestGarden, but I had not found these resources yet.

Thanks for the information on the resources. I tried many times for opening K12Station, but didn’t succeed. I’ll try again

Hi. I was interested to see our Social Networking webquest appear on your Blog. We had a great time with this - our students were really engaged by it. I would appreciate feedback on it because I am always open to ideas for editing it.

    Hi Clenda,
Thanks for the feedback about your students. I was excited to see your social netorking webquest. I have had others comment as to having the same feeling but if I get more specific feedback I will be sure to share it here. How about it? Anybody out there actually use the webquest?
