hi,

We started a free site called teachade for teachers and I was wondering if you'd take a look to see what you think. Basically we're looking to build a community of teachers to support each other through professional development and resource exchange. We're looking for your input and suggestions on how to improve the site. Hope to see you join us and participate.

[...] Are you blogging this? DOPA has had me down in the dumps! I needed some humor and found some today.
Thanks for sharing the link to the video - too bad only about 15 people in my school district would have ANY idea what he's talking about. . . . My district already filters anything with the words pod, blog, wiki, email, social networking, frappr, myspace, etc. so I've been trying for a year to convince the powers-that-be to UNBLOCK them and let me do fun web 2.0 stuff with my students, and now DOPA. To say I'm a little discouraged would be an understatement -- I'm having trouble getting psyched to write lessons for this new year because I was hoping to blog, podcast, wiki, moodle, etc. I guess I'll have to focus on DI, PLC, CQI and the other assorted acronyms they're pushing this fall. But I can still take the kids to Delicious, Flickr and Think! All is not lost!

Thanks for the insights, laughs and encouragement.
