My district already filters anything with the words pod, blog, wiki, email, social networking, frappr, myspace, etc. so I've been trying for a year to convince the powers-that-be to UNBLOCK them and let me do fun web 2.0 stuff with my students, and now DOPA. To say I'm a little discouraged would be an understatement -- I'm having trouble getting psyched to write lessons for this new year because I was hoping to blog, podcast, wiki, moodle, etc. I guess I'll have to focus on DI, PLC, CQI and the other assorted acronyms they're pushing this fall. But I can still take the kids to Delicious, Flickr and Think! All is not lost! Thanks for the insights, laughs and encouragement.
