Protecting children is good, but educating them is better.
Filter a website and you protect a student for a day. Educate students about online safety in a real world environment and you protect your child for a lifetime.
Plus, he has good suggestions for approaching this topic that are much better than the absolute frustration I’m feeling now.

It would be great if you could bring your blogging expertise to primary and secondary schools down under.
Harris has a great point that I think most schools should follow. Why don’t students blog on the INTRAnet if they’re so concerned about having their ideas out there?

My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on a number of websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!
