Comics RSS Feeds
day back at work after a very nice week off! It’s true, time flies when
you are having fun but it’s nice to get back in the blog world. My boss
told me this morning about a comic strip she read in the Sunday comics that featured weblogs but she
could not remember the name of the strip. Of course that sent me off on
a quick hunt. I haven’t found the clip yet but I stumbled across a list
of RSS feeds for comics. Check out Comic Alert and Tapestry.
Now this has possibilities for classroom use and the kids would love
it! It is too cool, all this stuff that we can have delivered right to
the doorsteps of our computers. It really makes you wish we could have
a computer at every student’s desk so you could truly maximize the
incredible possibilities. I know, I know, I’m a dreamer but it will
happen. Just not as soon as I’d like! Meanwhile I think I might create
one Bloglines account for the kids, testdrive it and see where we go!
What fun!

Is this the cartoon? It is dated 11/30/04 and was drawn by Rob Rogers

At breakfast table dad asks “Are you going to miss Dan Rather, Son?” and his son replies “Is he a blogger?”

That wasn’t the cartoon. It was “Opus” which I later found in my Sunday paper which I no longer read like I once did. Thanks for this link though. If you find any more blogging cartoons let me know - I’ll add to my collection.
