Hi Anne,

JeffC is a friend of mine who I know form teaching a class at Pacific University. He is a big fan of TappedIn. I on the other hand like the distributed and decentralized features of weblogs. It is pretty funny that you ran into him there... Small world and all... enjoyed working with you in New Orleans....

Okay, we were both on my blog at the same time this morning. I logged on, read your comment about the song I posted for my friends from Georgia and no sooner replied, when your comment about my "blogging injury" appeared. I'm feeling almost 100% now. I've cut my computer time way back. When I am working on the computer, I take breaks to get up and move about. I also do stretching exercises--for my leg, back, shoulders, and wrists. Funny thing--after Will posted about my post (I loved his "Blogman's Compensation") I did an internet search and did find blogging listed on a worker's comp site!!! At first I thought it was funny, then I wondered if insurance companies will try to use that against workers who really have gotten repetitive task injuries on the job but who also spend alot of time blogging. Hmmm... not cool.

Anyway, I'm doing well. I've been reading your updates on NECC. Thanks for always keeping us informed and getting us thinking, thinking, thinking! Hey, I know I've developed more thinking and writing wrinkles blogging with you!

I finish the school year today and start the new year tomorrow!!! Insane, isn't it. You would think we'd at least get Thurs and Friday off, then start on Monday. But, oh no, we start Thurs. and Fri. then get Monday off. Go figure! Oh well.

One of these 'ol days SuperThinker and I will meet up with you at a conference. Now that will be a blast!!!

Thanks for sharing all this with us, Anne.

Blogs and wikis are great tools for expression and collaboration and wikis together with webquest seem to be a perfect pair.

What about blikis?

Anne-

Thanks for continuing this discussion about Bernie's role and interest in Weblogs and Wikis. As you may, or may not, know I'm working to setup a conference for educational webloggers this November in Portland. Right now, I'm really hoping that I can get Bernie to attend to lend some of his perspective. Of course, I'm hoping you'll be able to attend, as well.

Additionally, I'm really interested to see some of the results of Bernie's class, "When Teachers Blog," and how educators may use Wikis.
