Will Wows Teachers with Weblogs
Will is busy putting weblogs in the hands of teachers! Manageable Manila Training - I like the sound of it! His take of the session was as follows:
I finally feel like I’ve boiled it down to the essential ingredients that allow teachers to start creating sites without overwhelming it. News, Stories, Pictures, RSS. That’s it. The hit of the day was when I showed them how to use Bloglines…that whole concept just blew them away. Paperless is a reality!
The first time I used Bloglines my first thought was that teachers would love it! So simple, so easy, and available wherever they are! I can’t wait to start adding some of Will’s teacher’s weblogs to my blogline list!
Also, he has spruced up his site - it looks great although I have to admit I miss the kid’s pictures….
Way to go, Will! You’re getting it done!
